thank you anna it means a world to me that you say so
you own the light in athis one Loui…so simple and it still pops off the page
How long did this one take you btw?
thank you for your kind support and time Azellah i appreciate it very much….the light pencil drawing first takes a while as i correct it till i think it is at a point where i can render it proper, things like the hair i do not shade in i just do the out line…then i use a conte pencil in combination with ink pen and ink brush to fill in the final drawing then i erase the original pencil…so in all this took an hour or so because i put it aside after the pencil bit and do something else so i can look at it freshly again a little later to see if it is all in proportion and so forth……i try to do the ink part quickly so as to not over do it, i stip back what i can from the pencil drawing…these drawings are around 30×25cm not like the large ink and brush drawings i do, they are more intimate and i enjoy there meditative quality….many do not work out and one must know when to call it quits and say one has failed even if it hurts…..:)
