lovely again …I sound like a broken record, I know :)When i look at these ones of yours I always think…he nailed it, but I imagine it could have gone so wrong, so easily. So I’m curious..do these always work the first time? do you ruin many?…because I imagine with just one foul brush mark it could all fall apart….hope u don’t mind me asking Loui. Again, Lovely work :)
no i like your questions… truly this is why i post here….sometimes i get so depressed for the elation of success in my minds eye of drawing is countered all to often by the cloud of failure…overall i’m never happy thats why i keep going, i thing the moment i truly say “voila thats it!” i’ll take up the violin again…lol…not really but i may go back to colour….see years ago (approx 15yrs) i lived in Sydney and did big sweeping canvases in colour of Sydney harbour and still lifes, thay sold well but i was unhappy so i gave away all my coloured paints and only concentrated on drawing in mainly one tone…this is still that epoch, i’m still finding and searching…..i screw up paper and or use the other side (money) i swear and tear my hair out …thats why i do cartoon and collage stuff to try and dispel the frustration of the ink stuff…the funny thing is that my best ally is time for i seldomly throw out much on the night i wait till the next day and view what i have done the previous sitting sometimes the ones i thought were a disaster are like “wow thats cool…” or the one that i was like “thats great now i’m moving..” will be the one i screw up first…..it was Picasso who taught me that i read a comment he made “-never throw anything away till you have seen it with fresh eyes_”………thanks adam for your interest and time…….

by the way i like broken records……. :D
thanks for sharing Loui…and don’t worry, I have plenty more questions but will space them out :)I’m sure I speak for a lot of people when I say your “uploads” are a highlight of the day.
think at this stage he gets every one of these absolutely “right” the first time … withLoui I feel there is never a second try… perfection! few can do this.. he’s one of the “rare ones” exquisite difference of the line density/light between her left and right sides makes this so special.. as always bravo! she’s also very beautiful!
no i like your comment much much better it is the way that i would want it to be and perhaps i should not dispel that magic so easily ….it is infact a great compliment you give me for it means that my work retains the freshness that i so desire…….thanks banrai.
wonderful work loui. what a great expression. sensational. and fantastic linework too.
i wanted to create an opposite to raunch, i dont want the sexual stereo type to be everything even though it is important …i wanted to show a more feminine side to women we also love
just read your reply to the first comment ignore mine accept the last two phrases
prefer you ignore it
