"Forget-Me-Not" series by Louise Green

Currently unavailable for purchase

This is a scan of a photo my dad Bill Green took of my dear Auntie Marjorie holding my sister Alison, in the early 60’s. He had always been a keen photographer.

I will be scanning some more of his photos and adding them in a series as a tribute to my dear dad who died 10 years ago after suffering from Dementia with Lewy Bodies.
He would have loved Redbubble…so it’s time to showcase his work…and thank him for passing on his passion. My mum is now in the late stages of dementia and has forgotten completely about my Dad until prompted with photographs. I suppose I want to make a point about how photographs help us remember in a way only music, smell and taste can evoke memories. I see this now when I put Jimmy Shand on and my mum jumps up and starts dancing like she did as a teenager in Scotland.
Photos are a lasting reminder when everything else has gone.
