One of the best portraits I’ve come across. The distinction visible between the eyes’ pupils and irises is striking and conveys great feeling. But you know what clinches the picture for me – the light switch missing its face plate. That’s priceless. It’s amazing how an apparently irrelvent element, just a sideline detail, can contribute, and in fact unlock the treasure of a whole work of art.

A most provokative and quizzical self portrait quite suited to the drama and mood of B&W.
Great contact with those lovely big doe-like eyes but your expression and pose tell me you are not an easy person to get close to. You have your space and a barrier. But if I were to know how and when to operate the swtich I believe you would open up and become a good close friend.
(Well that’s my interpretation of you very good imagery. Am I right? Am I close? Or is this all an act?) 8-)
