I live in Avalon, NSW Australia with my husband and two children and dog. I have a background in painting but also dabble in digital, etching and mixed media art. Have recently completed a Masters in art in Painting, and previously completed a BFA in Painting.

I am currently doing a series of micro landscape paintings using photographs from Cairns as a starting point. I am also creating a story telling series of digital works using my backyard as a starting point. I live next to a mangrove swamp and have been going out with my retired neighbour in his kayak at different times of the day capturing the different light. From here I am experimenting and drawing into the digital works to hopefully create a magical place – the place as I see it every day I take my dog out for a walk.

My previous work is the set designs for a dance performance, 12 pieces on canvas, 2.5m x 2m in acrylic set on castors. The designs are set in period time and depict a demented toymasters doll and toy workshop and the street scenes that the rescued toys eventually come out in to.
