I found these mushrooms in a field that is used to grow grass for garden lawn’s, not sure they are wanted there.
I think they are ink cap, but if i’m wrong please let me know.

Minor adjustments in photoshop 9, slightly darkened the sky, and lightened the foreground a touch, then converted to JPEG for uploading
I’m using a SONY a700, my main lens is a SIGMA 70-300 APO, recently though I have acquired a SONY ZEISS 16-80mm zoom, and I will use that occasionally.

Thank you Elaine, yes I was on the ground, just after a heavy rain shower, on the edge of the field! less grass more dirt, thank goodness for washing machines!!!!!!! ;- )

great photo :) i found these mushrooms meself the other day , well just one or two , a really long stemed one that was broken , it had wonderful designs on it and all black that steeped off it onto grass Did look like INK :);) So nice one that must be the name :):) have a look at the photo :)
