Welcome to my colourful world…..so glad you could visit. I hope you enjoy looking at my photos as much as I enjoyed shooting them.

Born in Birmingham, UK, I’ve worked as a public relations manager, psychology, and English (TEFL) teacher; have lived in Chelmsford, Milton Keynes, Reigate, Worcester and for 6 years in Huatulco on the Pacific coast of Mexico. I returned to my English homeland in 2008 and live on the beautiful North Devon coast. I love the natural world, travel, horses, and photography. My first camera many years ago was an Olympus OM1, with three prime lenses, but work commitments and horses distracted me for many years until 2004 when I bought my first digital camera, a Canon Powershot S1 IS. Self taught, landscape, nature, and abstract photography has become my passion. I upgraded to a DSLR Olympus E-510 early 2008, with two Zuiko lenses, 14 – 42mm 3.5-5.6 and 40 – 150mm 4-5.6. The camera uses the 4:3 ratio system and with x2 crop factor the telephoto lens seems more like 300mm!

I use Hoya circular polarising and neutral density filters, and Cokin graduated ND filters . I edit using Elements 7. Tripod is a carbon fibre Manfrotto 190CXPRO4 with 460MG pan and tilt head.

I’m currently uploading recent images to Redbubble but I also have many earlier albums (over 880,000 views) featuring vacation/travel/experimental/memories photos on Webshots, here. I am in the process of constructing a personal/business photography website.

2011 is an exciting year as I have recently set up Picturesque Prints selling my images on quality greetings cards, mounted prints, calendars, and canvases at craft centres around Exmoor and North Devon. In April I won the WCPA affiliated Braunton Camera Club Championship, and have been successful in local and regional photographic competitions.
