Dismal

Just some thoughts.

You experience only fear and longing.
Spend your days dreaming of belonging.
So you let faith carry you away.
Leave the notion of progress for another day.
We all spiral into a dark descent.
If you fail to catch yourself you’ll be filled with resent.
So dare to live your own meaningless life.
Set aside some time to deal with the strife.
In your hands lies your own destiny.
Get a firm grasp on it and rest in peace.
