My rested eyes awoke this morning to a grand and glorious sight,
A glimpse of the day in perfect array and my spirit then took flight.
Such jeweled dew lay gently glistening, breathed across My Lord’s dawning,
Oh what Glory spread before me, in the illustrious dawn of the morning,
My eyes were set in awesome wonder, at the sun in it’s grand display,
My heart was touched and I thanked my Lord for decorating my day!
