Gone in an instant…life vanishes into thin air;
Not a moment of warning…not a second to prepare.
Death has no time frame, it is selfish in it’s greed;
Death has no thought of the sorrow that it leaves.
A second, a minute, an hour, a day, death cares not of time;
It comes when no ones looking, and steals away a life.
Silent comes the hand of death, creeping at life’s door;
Those left laying in sorrow, beg for one day more.
One day more! I would beg of death, please grant me one more day!
For there are words I need to speak, before my loved one is gone away!
The moment is here, chance is gone, what happened to your time?
Death then says without a care, what was yours is now mine!
Hug them, love them, kiss them, tell them….
