The dinner table was covered with your favorite color tablecloth…blue
You may not have noticed the color, but I chose it because of you.
Set in an array of light on the table, candles…to cast a sensual mood;
To gently ease your mind into a playful, romantic little attitude.
Delicacy galore, dished little yummies to tempt my hungry man;
And I sit as close as I possibly could to feed you with my own hand.
Dessert was planned to perfection, although there appeared to be none.
I dressed in pure seduction, a hint of what was soon to come.
I served you a feast, fit for a king, everything your heart could desire…
And before I could hardly take a breath, your hunger for me expired.
Why do you come back now for seconds, you gagged on the first go round;
Spit me out like an evil spirit and I splattered all over the ground.
You show up now for seconds, as though you never had a taste;
I’m sorry, no leftovers here…my Moma taught me not to waste.
Moma taught me not to waste!
