Over and under…inside and out;
Day time or night time, lonely leaves little doubt.
Not choosey in it’s pick, but steady in it’s way;
A lonely that engulfs one every single day.
To wear this lonely garment, is a stifle to the soul,
If one could cast this lonely off, then naked they would go.
Oh but not the way it is, lonely will have it’s say;
No one comes to change it’s mind, so lonely’s gonna stay.
