She’s dearest to my heart, closest to my soul…
And she has the sweetest smile that I will ever know.
Heart bearing tenderness in her love so very deep…
No matter what happens in this life…My Moma loves me.
I can’t truly say what is the depth of her love…
But I can say that it has always been more than enough.
In the good or bad, through the thick or thin…
She’s always been that someone on whom I could depend.
In my misbehaving she could scold me without saying one word…
In my ignorance she taught me in wisom she has learned.
Worked hard all her life to give me all I would need…
And still had time to brush my hair as I sit there at her knees.
She is the strongest woman I think I have ever known…
In her ways of Godly living the seeds of my life were sown.
I love you Moma, my friend, my confidant, my everything…
There’s not another living soul that is more precious to me.
