My tears fell in to the svelting water,
carelessly rushing them away.
Cascading over the river bed,
as ripples played havoc with my face.
I wondered where these tears would go,
they say all waters lead to the sea.
Then none shall ever know the taste,
of the tears that fell from me.
Tears of questions without answers,
falling unwanted from bloodstained eyes.
Drowned with tears of how many others,
who seek the reasons and why
