these are not small tumbled rocks these are small boulders on our shoreline and difficult to walk on . ( and its a no-no to take them – its a special shoreline deposit )
lake superior, rocks, agates, water, northern ontario, canada
First thought that came to miind was “Off to a Rocky Start.” Wonderful colors of rocks against the beautiful waters.
my first thought was – did she take one :D then I read it’s a no no to take them
That’s a lovely array of colours and very well taken.
we have such lovely boulders!
and thank you to lake superior for getting them wet and making them pretty!!
oh but I want the reddish one in the middle. great photo!
yeah me too!
I’ve heard of those before and they are beautiful…also heard you can’t take them…great photo!! L
not supposed to take them and hard to hide in your pockets they go about 5 lbs or more
Love love love this!
the beach at Marathon is really unique – when you get to Terrace bay its smaller red pebbles and at worthington bay between terrace and schreiber they get fairly black………we have the most color here on top of superior – Red Rock is just that – lots of red rock……;-)
LOVE the color here! VERY cool shore! Not sure I’ve ever seen anything like it. Looks like a shore full of marbles!
except most of them are the size of small bowling balls! rocks from the glacier turned and turn – I call it rock candy!
