Lake Superior Rocks 2 - Marathon Ontario Canada by

these are not small tumbled rocks these are small boulders on our shoreline and difficult to walk on . ( and its a no-no to take them – its a special shoreline deposit )

    Love love love this!

  • the beach at Marathon is really unique – when you get to Terrace bay its smaller red pebbles and at worthington bay between terrace and schreiber they get fairly black………we have the most color here on top of superior – Red Rock is just that – lots of red rock……;-)

LOVE the color here! VERY cool shore! Not sure I’ve ever seen anything like it. Looks like a shore full of marbles!

  • except most of them are the size of small bowling balls! rocks from the glacier turned and turn – I call it rock candy!
