I grew up in Wisconsin on the shores of Lake Michigan, then married and moved to the shores of Lake Superior in Northern Ontario – where the scenery and subject matter is endless.
My paintings are of actual places in northern Ontario
my photography collection is large – some for painting references and some because of the love I have of the places I have been to on this wonderful inland ‘sea’.
I paint the places that are special to the experiences I have had there, and hope that each piece of art conveys the feelings of the experience also.
This is gorgeous country and a painters paradise. I recommend to any artist to take the time
and tour Pukaskwa National park and bring along your canvas and paints…or camera….and loose track of time….
