I have always loved creating things with my hands. As a child I preferred playing with fabric scraps and buttons to toys. I first discovered painting in a high school art class. I painted occasionally for the next 18 years but didn’t seriously pursue it until 3 years ago. My primary medium is watercolor. I love the glow and transparency that can be achieved. My favorite subjects are people. I especially love painting children and the elderly but also paint florals and landscapes. Why do I paint? The answer is simple – because I love to do it!
