Hello. I am a mother of 2 adult children, and semi-retired with a bit more time for myself, so now it seems I can pursue some hobbies I have always wanted, to improve upon, and it looks like if any place will help with photographic improvement, this Red Bubble is ‘the place’ to be :-) I live in the lush greeness of the Yarra Valley countryside, about an hour east of Melbourne (Australia). Lots of open space with Vineyards, fruit orchards, strawberry farms, tulip farms, hot air balloons, blue mountains, all the norm for my environment.

I have always had a passion for taking photographs of anything and everything from the age of 13 yrs since I got my first little camera that my dad bought for me back then in 1967.
Since I can remember, I have always been the one to bring along the camera to any function, much to the delight of many that either forgot to bring their camera or didn’t have any film to record the special event.
Now everyone has a little digi cam or mobile phone camera in their bag or pocket which is fantastic and very convenient for this day and age. It’s pleasing to see more people interested with taking photographs now. Capturing those special moments in time.
