I found love, so elusive, by the lake
Where jasmine bloomed…
Only for beautys sake.
On summer nights, I have called your name!
I wished for you
Then one night you came.
Spring…so glorious, even in the midnight hour,
More colourful
With each September shower.
The scent of jasmine, moonlight on the lake…
