My name is Dioni Pinilla and I am an illustrator and designer from the south Sydney city of Wollongong NSW Australia.

My work is influenced by the designs of industrial sites, cities, music, tv from my childhood and animation. My art reflects the youthful experience of monsters under the bed at night and the slightly askew nightmares of our childhood. I am inspired by the works of Tim Burton, Peskimo, Tado and Edward Gorey, although the inspiration for the majority of my work comes from everyday life.

Over the past few years i have had the amazing opportunity to do work for a lot of exciting projects including:
Feel Good Project, MTV, Circus Punks, custom toy lab, Prickie badges, This is for you, myspace, 30×30, Frame by Frame and
Semipermanent 2008.

I’ve also exhibited work in shows all over the world including, Australia, Taiwan, United Kingdom, United States aswell as international online publications.

Just completed a Diploma of Graphic Design.
