Nikon D300s
I took this picture of a what I believe to be a Fiery Skipper (if anyone knows anything different, please let me know) during the last warm spell before it got cold here. It was a lovely day and the skippers and butterflies were abundant. Probably won’t see anymore for awhile. Taken at Gralynn Mansion in Winston-Salem, NC

Boy – great photo! Good luck IDing the skipper. I finally found out the one I wasn’t sure of was a Zabulon Skipper – quite common this year. Your picture is absolutely marvelous and I’ll have to look up the Fiery Skipper to see if some of my questionables are that.. Congratulations on your feature in Insects, Bugs, and Creepy Crawlies – FAVE:>)
