An autumn capture of one of the old farm homes homes at Old Bedford Village in Bedford, Pennsylvania. Old Bedford Village is comprised of original homes, shops, schools, barns and churches which had been slated for destruction but were saved and moved to this location. Image captured with the Nikon D300 and the 18-200mm vr Nikon lens. Much tinkering in Photoshop CS4 and CS5, also including hdr from a single image in Photomatix Pro, a play in Nikon’s Capture NX2, Topaz and some textural work, with thanks to Jerry Jones of Shadow House Creations.

Very nice shot of this old farm home and wonderful idea to save these buildings from destruction.
My darling Gilberte … thank you, sweetie!!! Yes, it’s really a wonderful place … you really feel like you’ve stepped back in time there!!! They also do re enactments .. civil war, the French and Indian War … it’s very exciting!!!!

Who can resist an old unpainted building hiding in the woods? This is gorgeous, I love the partial view of the house. The fence and rock work add the perfect rustic touch!
