“Remembering When” is a different treatment on a personal favorite,( also posted here at RB, the digitally painted “Remember When”).

Original photographic image captured along Route 30 somewhere between Chambersburg and Bedford, Pennsylvania. I have no idea what this structure once was … a home … or a hotel … or a country store? It’s very near the road, but right out in the middle of nowhere … there is no town here. It’s a mystery!!

Image captured November, 2009 with the Nikon D300 and the 18-200mm vr Nikon Lens. HDR in Photomatix Pro and texture from Jerry Jones applied in Photoshop CS4.

It looks as if there must have been a fire there. The builsing looks forbidding, especially with the fall-colored brambles in front. Fine work, Lois!

Most dramatic rendering. I feel as though I am approaching the “hotel.” Don’t think I will inquire about a room. :)
