A bit of play with shallow dof and the new macro lens in the garden, spring of 2011. Nothing like the flowers and the bees in the warm sunlight!!!
Image taken with the Nikon D300 and the Nikon 105mm macro lens at 105mm focal distance. Manual, shutter speed 1/2000, aperture f/3.5, exposure 0.00, iso 320, hand held.

Great shot…love the shallow DOF. I’m just about to get a new macro lense myself! It’s nice to see that it’s spring somewhere on earth…in Montreal today there is rain, hail and strong winds all at once!!!! Enjoy your new lense!
