I’d like to dedicate this to our friends in Japan … for their generosity of spirit and to let them know they’re in our hearts and prayers during these troubling times.
A quick trip down into Washington DC to the tidal basin yesterday early morning (3/27/2011) to see if we could get some shots of the snow on the cherry blossoms … but all I really got was watery eyes, a runny nose and frozen fingers … that is until the sun came out. THEN it got pretty!!!
Image taken with the Nikon D300 and the 18-200mm vr Nikon lens. Much playing in Photoshop CS4, Capture NX2 and several versions of Photomatix for hdr images created from single shots, adjusted in PS to evals of -/+ 2. Blended in PS with textures and a version of DAP. My thanks to SolStock for the texture.
