Another one of my squirrelly buddies, enjoying the suet cake I hung out for the birds during a recent snowstorm, here in Maryland, USA, December 16, 2010. I just loved the excited little look on his face!!!

Image taken with the Nikon D300 and the 70-300mm Nikon lens at 300mm focal distance. Shutter was at 1/250, aperture f/ 6.3, iso 800, exposure -0.33.

Hiiiii M’reeeeeeen!!!!! Thank you!!!! Isn’t he just hilarious?? SUCH personality!!!!! We didn’t have the black ones here until a few years ago. I’d seen on further south about 10 years or so ago … and now, here they are here, too!!!! SO much personality!!!! The little stinkers!!!

They are north and south of here… wonder why not here? We get the cute red and greys xo This is Wonderful!! I want one :-)
AWWWW … I’ll trade you one of the blacks for one of those precious red squirrels!!! When I went to visit Renee and Lynda last spring I got off a couple of shots of the red ones … they are SO darling!!!!!!

Hiii Sharon!!! We’ve always had the grays here, too … they’re much more common … but these little black ones are becoming more and more numerous. I wonder if they’ll … ahhhh … mix it up with the grays, in time???
