A shelf of old, antique medicines used in the 1800s by doctors and apothecaries. I can’t help wondering how many of these things were as harmful as they were supposed to be helpful!!

Image taken at Old Bedford Village, in Bedford, Pennsylvania with the Nikon D300, the 18-200mm vr Nikon lens and treated to a trip to Photomatix for HDR (single .jpeg duplicated in Photoshop to evals of +/-2), then Photoshop CS4 for much tweaking and several textures from Skeletal Mess at Flickr.

I wonder if there’s something there to make youth full again LOL. That aside this is wonder full what you have done. Nice diagonal composition makes the image very appealing to the eye. The tone and texture sure gives it that aged feel. I like this Lois another beauty well done !!

  • Curtiss … if there were something like that there, don’t you think I’d have bought up every scrap of it??? LOL!!!!!! Thanks for your visit … it’s been sitting in its raw stage in here for ages and I was in a frisky mood last night, so did a bit of tinkering. So happy you liked the results!!!
