A lovely tree-lined street in the historic section of New Market, Maryland. Image taken with the Nikon D300 and the 18-200mm vr Nikon lens in July of 2009. Shutter speed 1/200, aperture f/7.1, iso 1000. Post work included hdr from a single hand held image, reproduced in Photoshop CS4 to evals of +/-2 and finished off in Photomatix Pro. Some further tinkering in Photoshop including levels, curves, filters, skewing and addition of a texture from FloraBella.

Absolutely LOVE THIS Lois….gorgeous colours…beautiful soft light. Lovely feature stonework and is that a Christmas wreath I see on the doors…..hmmmmmm. lol

And no, it’s NOT a Christmas wreath rolling eyes and groaning around here we often use wreaths for all seasons … one for spring, for summer, for fall … and … yes … for Christmas.
