“Well, you see, doctor, in my nightmare … "
Original image taken with the Nikon D300 and the 18-200vr Nikon lens. I was on manual, shutter at 1/50, aperture f/5l6, exp -0.33, iso 400, spot metering. Textures and flood filter added in Photoshop CS4.
my thanks to Lenabem at Flickr and to ghostbones at Flickr for the textures.
Realization of what may come if we continue on our current path is what a nightmare is made of…but then again it might mean we’ve been watching TV a bit much. Strange mood you say…like that’s never happen before! Love ya Lois!!! Don’t ever change…
HAHA!!!! RB is slooooooooow today over here … am trying to post a “description” in the description box that’s explain this one a little better … I hit the button on this before I was really ready … oh me oh my!!!!! Knew if I didn’t, I never would. Yes, I’m a mess.
I would not mind if they pushed a person down the board – but not an animal. I guess I would have gotten into trouble again. (I like animals better than most people). Sorry about that! A terrific depiction Lois. Bill
I hear ya … maybe the idea was to give them exercise?? Because it really wasn’t as steep as I’ve made it look, and they did then get to swim around a little (until A Hand scooped them up again) …. lol … but once I got going on the image, it just looked even more nightmarish than it did in real life … and … well … my imagination took off from there!!!! Thanks for visiting and for your thoughts, sweetie!!!!!
I agree with billfox256! Interesting image Lois. RB is slow here too.
Yeah, I think I’m going to sign off until later .. this is toooo slooooow!!! But thanks ever so for your visit … I DO have nightmares … lol … but I’m usually not a baby duck in them. Usually.
So lovely Lowy…I love the gold and green tones…poor cute little thing. RB’s working fine for me now…yay!
thanks, sweetie, mine’s back up and zipping along now too. Glad you liked this one … i was really only fooling around with the flood filter, but the more I played, the more I liked it!!! Poooor widdle sing!!!!!
These ducks must be playing havoc with your sleep patterns, fabulous duck art!!!
HAHAHA!!!!! I truly have no idea where that title came from … I’m really not a duck in my dreams … at least … not very often!!!!! HAHAHA!!!! Thanks, hon!!!

Beautiful photo and texture work, Lois!! I guess to see those ducklings put on show like that and then repeat, repeat and repeat, could bring those thoughts you had!!
Hi Allison!!!! thank you, hon!!!! I don’t mean to be a weird-o, but I did feel bad for the poor things!!! Bless their hearts!!! I’ve loved the images of them, but never quite knew what to do with them. A lovely barnyard scene would have been more appropriate, i guess … but some little devil got into me today … hehe
