One of the first snowfalls at Blue Knob, Claysburg Pennsylvania November 28, 2009, in what turned out to be one of the most exciting and snowy winter seasons even the old timers could remember!!
Image taken with the Nikon D300 and the 18-200mm vr Nikon lens. Shutter 1/400, aperture f/10.0, exposure 0.00, iso 250. Post work included several textures.

Wow!!! I don’t want to think about winter yet, as we had our fair share of snow and impassable parts of the country, and finally enjoying sunny, warm weather, but this picture is so very gorgeous!!! Dreamlike, job well done Lois!!
Goooood morning gorgeous girlie!!!! Thank you … I was really disappointed with the shots I got of the snow up on the mountain last season … it got so bad I really couldn’t get around easily … so what i did have I tinkered with all to bitz, lol!!!!! There’s a winter challenge floating around and I thought it would be nice to trot something new out … and have been holding onto this one for months … glad you liked it!!!!!

I know what you mean … we were up there this weekend … without ac … but Friday and Saturday were lovely … Sunday morning, we left early … it was starting to get sticky even at 3000 feet!!!!!!!!!!
