Frank Sinatra was singing in my mind’s ear throughout the creation of this one …
I love going down to my garden and seeing the world of the flowers and light from the perspective of my floating and buzzing friends.
Image taken 7/18/2008 with the Nikon D40x and the 70-200mm vr Nikon lens. Shutter was 1/250, aperture f/5.6, exposure -1.00, iso 200. Post work included tinkering with various blend modes, some hand painting in Corel Painter 11, and several textures.

Hi Colleen, thank you!!!!! compositionally, I liked the way Mother Nature arranged the flowers in sort of a V shape … the butterfly just in the intersection seemed to work … and for ONCE … I didn’t add the butterfly!!! It really was THERE!!!
