Lovely work, Lois. We used to have purple crocuses in our front yard. But the bunnies kept eating the blossoms as soon as they appeared so my husband gave up on replacing them! But I love the flowers….but the bunnies more!
Sandy, you may be right … I’m blaming the deer for eating them, year after year, but it could just as easily be bunnies. Whoever is eating them, they at least don’t pull them up out of the ground … just sort of sheer them off at the tops, lol. I got out there last year and did belly shots to get these. They were on a slight rise and I was fussing about a back ache for weeks after!!! Oh the sacrifices we make, right???
