Another little toad shot … I think this might even be my old buddy from a few previous sessions, based on the star on his little throat!!! Anyhow, he was again very cooperative, bless his heart!!!
Image take with the Nikon D300 and the Nikon 60mm macro/micro lens on July 19, 2009. Shutter was 1/400, aperture was f/10.00, exp. -.33, iso 640, spot metering.
Other than cloning off a bit of ?? … image is “as is.”
He’s so tiny!!!! Was the flower swaying? This is AMAZING photography!!!!!
You’re a genius!
Hi Robin!!!!! Yes, the little darlings are still only the size of a fingernail … well … maybe a thumbnail, now!!! And this particular flower wasn’t one of the huge ones … they’re just now leafing out properly … nope … no swaying!! So glad you enjoyed it, hon!!! And thanks so much for the fave!!!! Muchly appreciated!!! Hugzzz!!
Lol….this is adorable Lois…he must be really tiny…I didn’t realise how small there are….fabulous shot hon.
Hiiii Wynnie!!! Thanks, hon .. yep they’re teensy … I can hold half a dozen in my hand (closed … ‘cause they jump) when I’m scooping them out in the mornings!! Glad you liked this one … I swore I wasn’t going to do any more … but these turned out so fun!!!
You lucky thing being able to capture your friend in all the right conditions! Wonderful capture
lol … thanks, Anji … I truly am lucky!!!!

what perfect timing, or did you pay him to pose like that?? excellent capture!
Hiii John!!!! No, I didn’t pay him, but I did save his life from the pool (AGAIN!) … I know I’m kidding myself when I say this, but I can’t help thinking this particular guy is getting used to me (from previous shoots) … if I’m right, he’s always very cooperative and would have hung around even longer if I wanted!!!
