This is the companion piece to “Higher Learning” … and is another commentary on the difficulties of obtaining a college education in today’s economy and on the difficulties of getting a job once the education has been earned. Thanks to Karen Tillotson for the idea for the title … I added the question marks in a mad burst of hope and optimism.

This image was taken on the campus of UMBC – University of Maryland, Baltimore County – on July 6, 2009. I used the Nikon D300 and the 18-200mm vr Nikon lens with the cp filter. This is a composite with an image of the sky that I took in my backyard with the Nikon D40x and the 18-135mm Nikon lens on April 12, 2008. Texture overlay layer courtesy of CGTextures.com.

Stunning work! so much depth and texture. Love this!

  • Peter, thank you so much … this place is a photographer’s dream … angles and shadows and subtle color everywhere. As I was with my young-man son, you can imagine the trouble I had maintaining my old-lady dignity!! Thank you again!!!
