Another one of my little pool buddies … this time hanging out in the liriope leaves. I love the look on his face … so full of honor and dignity!!! VERY princely, yes?? As always, after a minute or two of snaps, he was placed gently on the ground under the leaves to join his brothers and sisters and happily hunt yummy bugs for breakfast.
Image taken with the Nikon D300 and the 60mm Nikon Micro/macro lens at 1/10 shutter, f/11.0 aperture. A bit of tinkering in Photoshop on this one mainly dodging and burning, also cropped.

Funny, just the other day you were shooting with a D40. Now you have a D300? Are you sure you have not secretly turned him into a prince, who is now showering you with lavish gifts! hehehehe, I crack myself up. Fantastic shot, his “look” is priceless, image overall is perfect!
