Down the Mountain

Hi Barbara!!!!! Thank you!!!! This year was iffy … when the colors would have been at their very best we had nothing but rain!!! This particular spot was on a level, elevation wise, that was high enough (on the one sunny day, lol) to have turned … but just a short ways higher up the mountain and all the leaves were already off the trees!!! I think that had to do with the tree species themselves and the side of the mountain because up at the house (and on a different side of the mountain) on that weekend, everything still wasn’t quite ready!!!

I have used RAWs .. but I really don’t have (yet) a decent conversion program. I’m thinking of getting Bibble, but haven’t yet. Anyhow, 99 % of the time I shoot in Nikon’s jpeg FINE. And since I’ve been too lazy to figure out the bracketing function, I just use one image for the hdr. It almost always works. ALMOST being the operative word. Plus, RAWs take up toooooo much space in my computer, LOL!!!!
