Ahhhh Yuri, you’ve found me out!!!!! The reason I got into photography in the first place was taking pics that I could then paint, but I got stuck on the photography part!!! I now have Corel Painter 11 and LOVE best of all to take my images there and tinker around and paint them. I was thinking this would be a good subject … but there’s a challenge going … and it was calling my name pretty loudly!!! Thank you so much for your kind words!!! Very much appreciated!!!

Hi Angie, sweetie!!!! Thank you sooo much!!!! The light in this place was rather a problem … the windows were itty bitty and I didn’t bring the tripod with me … so handheld in low light _{when will I learn??} but of the kazillion I shot this one wasn’t tooooooo shaky, lol!!!

Angel you are SO right!!!!! I kind of get into a comfort zone, you know?? I LOVE trying new techniques and subjects … but stepping out of that comfort zone can be .. just a smidge uncomfortable, lol!!!!!

As to the nervous part … if we’re not a wee bit nervous then we’re not stretching ourselves … and if we’re not doing that … we’re not growing. ‘Course, I’ve been known to grow in the wrong direction once or twice!!!!
