Hi sweetie!!!!! Yes, Blue Knob is the location of the cabin. I mentioned it to him this evening and didn’t really get an answer, lol, he said something about being afraid he’d scared everybody the other week!!! I mentioned it to my son, too, and suggested he come along with the D40x … he was in Lancaster years back and it was one of his favorite places … so who knows, it might become a real family affair!!!!!

Von … you really need to look into renting a place near you!!!! Up at our cabin, most of the houses on our little road are available for renting out by the week or by the weekend!!! Some for whole seasons!!!! I’m sure there must be something like that near you!!! I can’t tell you the wonderful sense of freedom and release we all feel when we get up there!!!!! It’s a 3 hour drive from here, one way, but sooooo worth it!!!

There are three boards that someone painted a bright red … as if they were going to paint the whole barn red but changed their mind. The Photomatix and the Orton really brought out the color, especially when I hit it with the eraser. I thought about toning it down but decided I liked it.

I liked it because it made me wonder if the owner was originally going to paint the whole place red … as so many barns and sheds here are … but then maybe changed his mind?
