Nice weeds.
Lois Bryan replied
lol … yeah … the innocent kind!!!
robpixaday
Oh!!!! I love how you did this!!!!!It’s so deep, but so immediate, too, you know? Like we’re THERE but able to look into the past and the future, too…..WOW!!!!!!
the colors are gorgeous.
Lois Bryan replied
Oh, you sweetheart, really??? I was just about to take it down … it doesn’t look right here … I love the full size on my desktop … but here … all the detail is squished or something, lol!!!!!! Thank you!!!!!!! Hugzzz!!!
lorilee
Simply beautiful – - – lovely texture!!!
Lois Bryan replied
Thanks, Lori!!!! I need to add that over under comments … thanks for reminding me!!!

“A weed is no more than a flower in disguise.” James Russell Lowell
Nicely done. Bill
Lois Bryan replied
LOL!!! Thanks, Bill!!!!!!
AnnDixon
Very nicely done Lois, I love the wild flowers, without weeds we wouldn’t have cultivated flowers,
Lois Bryan replied
Thanks, Ann!!!! The fun thing about being up here is the incredible number of weeds, and how beautiful they really are up close!!!!
Béla Török
Great work, my dear friend!
Lois Bryan replied
Thank you, Bela!!!!
Ingz
excellent as always Lois! i love the dainty wild flowers in the forground xxx
Lois Bryan replied
Thank you!!!!!! For some reason I can’t figure out … they don’t look nearly as cool here as they do on my monitor full size … the pizels must be squished or something!!! But I’m glad you like it … maybe your monitor is picking them up better in this resolution??? Who knows … either that or my pickiness has just taken itself to new heights, lol!!!!!
Trudy Wilkerson
There is nothing as pretty as wildflowers growing and you surely have captured the essence of that.
Lois Bryan replied
Trudy, you are such a sweetie!!!! Thank you!!!
mhkantor
sensational work wonderful treatment. (don’t know why, but it has a civil war kindof feeling to it for me. go figure.)
Lois Bryan replied
Thank you!!!! It’s the fence … funny thing is, going down the other side of the mountain is a loooong fence that is just the “civil war” kind of fence you mean … with the zig-zag construction? I’m sure there’s a technical name for it. I’ve take a ka zillion shots of it but have yet to get one that I’m sufficiently happy with to post here … but here’s a sample …
robpixaday
I looked at it in the larger view…...it’s bigger and brighter, and the screen light makes it glow more than the smaller regular version. It’s an intense piece; I think it like the light of the monitor to glow with…..I’ve had that happen with a few of the things I’ve made…or shot…they beg to be larger so the light can get at all the pixels (LOL….not that that makes any sense!!!).
Anyway, I love it…
Lois Bryan replied
You could be right … or maybe I’ve just had too much coffee and my eyeballs are jumping around in their sockets again … ? haha … anyhow, thanks for the second look … I’ve got a horizontal of this that matches that I’ll probably post one of these days, too, and pop them both in Sets of Two. I THINK the horizontal looks okay and not squished … ? sigh .. whooo knooooowzzz !!!!

LudaNayvelt

Lois Bryan replied
thanks, Luda … the second shot is the reason I got the Cokin nd filter … that view from that spot is going to be gorgeous if I ever get it right!!!!!
LudaNayvelt
I am so happy that it’s work for you, I am telling that after I got this filter, I got so much more happier with Nikon, this is why you see me using Nikon the most recently, but it’s also fit my canon, my both cameras 52 mm
Lois Bryan replied
I was so hoping to get “the” shot with the new filter over the weekend, but believe it or not there was a 2-day Blue Grass Festival right where I would have set up, lol!!!! Plus, the clouds / sky wasn’t what I would have wanted.
Basia McAuley
Great comp and processing, well done.
Lois Bryan replied
Basia, I’ve just done myself the very great favor of taking a few minutes to go through your portfolio … and I can say one thing … I’m completely honored that you would stop by and leave such a lovely comment on an image of mine that, this morning, I was ready to toss. As a fence lover from way back…. this image is more than a photograph.. T R U E ART!
Lois Bryan replied
Larry, you are such a sweetheart!!!! Yes, I love the fences, too!!! isn’t it funny how we can sometimes single out a specific item that means so much … windows, doors, benches, fences … inanimate objects that really have that extra something!!!
