Another in the series from the Brighton Azalea Garden in Montgomery County, Maryland. Image taken May 13, 2009 with the Nikon D40x, using the 18-200mm vr Nikon/Nikkor lens and the cp filter; shutter at 1/160, aperture 3.8, exp 0.0, iso 400. Post processing included hdr in Photomatix Pro from a single, hand-held image duplicated twice in Photoshop, +/- 2 eval, then back to Photoshop for a light Orton.

The Brighton Azalea Gardens in Brookeville, Maryland, is a member of the Maryland National Capitol Park and Planning Commission properties and was established in 1950. It is recognized as one of suburban Maryland’s springtime showcases, the gardens display more than 22,000 azaleas and other plants. Overlooks the Tridelphia Reservoir.
