But that heart shape really made it stick in my memory … I think there’s a head tilt challenge coming up in the next couple of days … so I hauled this one out of the moth balls and have been working on it for days. Oh, Angie, you darling!!! Actually your new challenge was my inspiration for getting this one out of mothballs and fixing it up a bit!!! It was originally over at WS … but as a pretty bad snap. I’d been experimenting with natural lighting (you know how dogs hate the flash) and this was loooooooong before I had my bounce-light. So the original shot was awfully noisy and grainy. Plus, she was sitting on my sofa, lol, not exactly pro-portrait material!!! So I cut and pasted her onto different backgrounds, worked on the edges like the fool that I am, “painted” her fur … but nothing was working. I gave up several times but just couldn’t let it go … finally got it to the point where I thought it was ok to upload. Now if I forget … and MISS your challenge, I’ll probably CRY!!! So … THANK you for reminding me about it AND for the inspiration … and I’ll stand ready to enter the minute it’s open for entries!!!!!
