Hi Liz!!! Thank you so much!!!!! This was taken on top of a 3000 ft mountain in PA!! Down at the bottom, there was nothing more than a light dusting!!!

Hiiii sweetie!!!! Yes, it does that up there all the time!!! There were barely any flakes falling when I took these, but sometimes there’s nearly a sunny whiteout!!! Soooooo fun!! But I don’t know how I’d take pictures in conditions like that!! LOL!! As it was, it took me nearly 10 minutes or so just to clone off the wet spots that were on the lens!!!!

Umbrella, no … I don’t get along with them … plus, can’t see me futzing with the camera settings AND holding the umbrella … haha … it would make a funny picture though, I bet!!!! But if no wind, the lens hood is the perfect solution!!!! I have one for each lens, and you know, I’ve never EVER used one!!! SHEESH!!! >slapping self on forehead with back of hand< I never even THOUGHT of those things!!! Thanks for the idea!!!!!
