I tweeked the levels and shadows and highlights, but honestly didn’t need to … the original is for all intents and purposes identical. What you’re seeing is the effect of the circular polarizing filter that I was using that day!!! They are MAGIC!!!

You’re right about the infra red come to think of it … it does have that kind of look. The sun was to my rear and right … and since the house is an A-frame, it doesn’t cast much of a shadow at this time of year … so the light on the near trees really worked in my favor.

Yep … it’s c-c-c-c-cooooold!!!! That’s for sure!!!! Where this was taken, in Pennsylvania at our ski cabin up in the mountains, they get goooooood cold snowy winters!!! My home-home is in Maryland – and we’re sort of on the edge .. our winters can go either way. But farther north … oh what a mess!!!!!
