A good eye on you, Agnes, yes I think I caught the light just right too … I was standing with the house behind me, but it’s an A-frame, so the shadow isn’t boxy like a regular house’s shadow would be. The light was coming from my right rear … and it highlighted the limbs nicely, I thought.

Hi John!! thank you so much for your lovely note!!! Actually this was taken from my deck, so the trees kind of come with the territory with the lens strengths that I have. I walked around to another road, though, one that faces a slightly different view of the mountains in the distance and got several shots from there. I’ve been thinking of uploading one or some of those … with your encouragement here, I just might!!!! I’d be interested in your opinion … to me, they’re not as exciting. But I do thank you again!!!

No, it isn’t water .. it’s shadow … i’m at about 3,000 feet at this spot. Did you check out the other images from this shoot that I posted?? There are three others … they may give you a better idea of the view.
