Actually, I don’t think it is, as you say, “still standing after all this time.” This particular site is an ongoing archaeological dig … there are tents and excavations everywhere. Unless I’m way off, the pieces to the library have been very carefully and painstakingly unearthed and re grouped, reconstructed and rebuilt. Actually the library itself is pretty much a shell, but what a magnificent shell!!!!!

Hi Luca, yes I did … I had the nice crisp version all set to go, but at the last minute I just wondered what Orton would do … and it just made everything GLOW!!! Sometimes I can’t make up my mind which I like best, but in this case there was no argument. The Orton is very slight, so all the detail is still there. Thanks, hon … very glad you liked it!! You know how I respect your photographic opinions!!
