The poor camera was set to all the wrong settings, had the wrong lens … everything!!! But I was lucky with the light. Took lots of shots of this, all the others were a mess, lol!!!! So, bottom line, no PhotoShop magic this time!! Just dumb luck!!!

Hiiii sweetie!! Sadly, I’m not there enough to have tamed these little guys … they see human beings and they SCOOOT!!! LOL!!! We have so many acorns there that at this time of year, when they start shooting out of the trees … if you get hit on the head, it HURTS!!!! Not only that, you have to be careful walking … like tying to navigate around on ball bearings, lolol!!!!!

we were up last weekend, but I had a very short visit … and didn’t get outside to shoot. Next time I’m up I’ll have to look around for those little darlings!!

Trust me … I must have snapped the shutter a dozen times … this is the only one that’s even faintly recognizable, lol!!! Quantity will eventually produce quality!!! I’ve done it a couple of times before … wild geese flying and so forth … and the backgrounds were always so much farther away … this shot, with the ground being RIGHT THERE really produced a completely different result!!! BIG fun!!!
