Hi Alf!!!! Sooo glad you think this one is okay!! We have a little cabin in the mountains in PA … and along one of the short cuts is a road with a “covered bridge” sign. That’s how I found the previous covered bridge shot … and as I was driving around, I came to a fork in the road with another sign … there were covered bridges either way!!! This one was on the other fork … but BOY was it hidden!!! My sharp-eyed hubby actually saw this one off to the side of the road … I’d have missed it completely!!!

Oh, Rod … thank you sooo much!!! The light on this day was criminally bad … the sky in the original is flat white. YUK!!! I popped a couple of nice blue skies in … but it just didn’t do anything for me. That’s when I decided to take a cue from the look of the bridge itself, and try for a Halloween-y look. I took a lot of shots from the inside, with the vision of the old mill at the end of the telescoping darkness … one side of the bridge is semi-open … I hope I can finally get one of those to turn out, too. Thank you, once again, for your wonderfully encouraging comments!!! I love talking photography with you!!!!!! Hugzzz!!!

I think a lot of PS is intuitive. You just sort of go with the energy. Well, that sounded weird, lol. The class is good, it’s teaching me to do things the RIGHT way, but not as much NEW as I’d hoped for. Thanks so much, Mark … this started out as the dullest shot ever recorded in the history of mankind. I was bummed. Popped it into PS and started to play … what FUN!!! LOL!!

Nooooo kidding!!!!! I can imagine your “deliverance” experience … I didn’t run into anybody .. in fact, thought the house was deserted until, just as I left, I saw smoke coming out of the chimney!!!! I’ve got shots of the house and the cows and pigs in the yard … but still haven’t been able to create anything upload worthy out of them. The day was raw cold and the light was flat gray. Have a couple of the interior of the bridge that I might upload if I’m ever satisfied with them. That I was able to do anything fun with this particular shot is a miracle, lol!!! Do you have any of yours uploaded?? I ‘d love to see them!!!!
