Only a bit of sharpening and the removal of a spider’s drag line on this one … all the rest is as the camera saw it. These asters are about 2 inches in diameter … I think??

Hiiii Blair!!!! I took this one with the macro lens … the 60mm Nikon/ Nikor … decided to pick it up again and give it another try. Hand held, and it’s not a VR lens. Took a LOT of shots of these … early morning … the asters were pointing into the sunlight. The blurry lavender on the edges of the image are petals that are out of focus because they’re closer to the camera.

Hi Sandra!!!! i took this in the early morning … a lot of the softness you see is due to the macro lens and the fact that several petals are actually closer to the camera than the main focal point. Sooo glad you like this one!!!
