Tufted titmouse on the railing during another of our infamous ice storms. Don’t worry, there’s a feeder full of black oiler sunflower seeds right beside him!!

Thanks, Bevie!! Notice the quality of the images here as compared to WS??? When you upload something here, open another window to the same image at WS and compare … you’ll be SHOCKED!!! And it’s exactly what I’ve been complaining about for sooooo long!!!!!

Excellent!! Have you tried a slightly tighter crop? Maybe just a little off the bottom and little off the left side. Just a thought. Nevertheless a very cool photo. Lvoe the ice on the railing.
Lois Bryan replied
Hi Scott!! Thanks so much for your note and your ideas!! This shot was taken with my 18-135mm, I’m pretty sure. I know it was before I had my 70-300mm lens. Also, it was taken through the French doors of my kitchen and then through storm doors. Believe me, it has already been cropped a LOT. I’m afraid of cropping it further, don’t want to kill the shot with noise. Also, taking more off the bottom would destroy the look of the icicles which I kind of like!! But thanks again for looking and for your thoughts!!! I reeeealy appreciate it!!!!!! I’m always up for a thoughtful conversation on photography!!!!
