Living in the Pacific Northwest of the mainland United States, scenery abounds and I seem to find myself focusing on mountains, water, plants and gardens.
My Sony A-100 DSLR died an honorable death. One too many trips to the beach and sand got into it seriously. I found that it has been discontinued, can’t get a new battery or parts. So, I broke down and got a new camera. A Sony SLT-A55V. Of course new memory cards are required as well as new batteries. Only my lens fit the new camera. It does movies – big deal – but I have much less control over settings. Disappointed in Sony but glad to have a camera again. Used my little old one for a week and it was painful.
